About the changeover
As part of this commitment, we’ve transitioned from traditional PVC plastic to Visa Debit cards made with 90% recycled content.
The refreshed design features a vibrant green base that reflects The Capricornian’s branding and is digitally printed for durability, ensuring it stays looking great for longer.
Alongside an environmentally friendly construction, these cards also feature improved functionality with the addition of an accessibility notch.
By placing a cut-out on the bottom-right corner of the card, it is easier than ever for members to identify and use their card with confidence.
When will I receive a new Visa card?
As a proudly community-owned bank since 1959, The Capricornian is dedicated to supporting its members and demonstrating social responsibility, including reducing environmental impact.
Whether you’re tapping for your morning coffee or shopping online, your Capricornian Visa Debit card is one of many convenient and sustainable ways to access your money.
The new cards are available now for new members and will be rolled out to existing members as replacements when their current cards expire.
